Saudi-led Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki reported that 13 civilians sustained light to moderate injuries in new ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif on Monday, causing damage to seven residential houses and two vehicles. The coalition condemned the escalation against civilian infrastructure. The nationality of these 13 casualties has not been released, and official information does not currently establish a direct individual-level linkage between these victims and the Indian nationals hospitalized in Jeddah. These events follow a series of attacks last week that affected civilian and economic sites in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, resulting in 73 reported casualties, including women and children. On September 9, India’s Ministry of External Affairs condemned these attacks, stating that strikes on Saudi sovereign territory, particularly civilian and economic facilities, are unacceptable and undermine regional stability.
