Kuwait Gives 8700 Palestinians 3 Months to Update Residency Docs

The General Department of Residency Affairs in Kuwait has started a mandatory process for about 8,700 Palestinian residents. They must transfer their residency from traditional travel documents to official Palestinian Authority passports. Notifications are being sent through the government Sahel app.

The embassy is working with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Ramallah to speed up passport issuance. Officials are also making a plan to print Palestinian passports directly at the embassy in Kuwait in about one week.
