VFS Global emphasized that the opening does not alter UK Home Office rules, visa-on-arrival policies, or existing UK-Oman visa waiver conditions. Approval authority remains solely with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Applicants must complete the official UK government application and pay the required Home Office fees online prior to scheduling an appointment at the Salalah facility. The center is intended to serve individuals applying for UK Standard Visitor visas, student visas, skilled worker visas, and dependant visas.
