Impact on Commercial Sectors and Vehicle Sizes

Commercial sectors relying on diesel, such as delivery fleets, logistics, and construction, face a 13.2% monthly increase in fuel costs, compared to a 5.6% to 5.9% rise for petrol. Motorists with 50-51 liter tanks will see costs rise by approximately Dh10 to Dh10.20 per fill, while 74-liter SUV tanks will cost an additional Dh14.80 for Special 95.

Monthly Review and Cost Management Tips

Fuel prices in the UAE are reviewed monthly by the Fuel Price Committee based on global energy market conditions. These rates apply across all emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. Drivers are advised to adhere to manufacturer-recommended fuel grades to maintain vehicle performance. To manage the increased costs, which reflect a 6% rise for petrol and 13% for diesel budgets, experts suggest carpooling, proper route planning, and monitoring tire pressure. The next price revision is scheduled for October 1, 2026.
